This case serves solely to protect the remote control from: Stains, Dirt and Liquids. I absolutely don't think it guarantees the integrity of the remote control from accidental drops. I say this because to protect my remote control I had a robust silicone protection, both from dirt and from falls. Although this was transparent, it did not allow perfect reading of the keys, and especially in conditions of poor visibility there was serious difficulty in reading them. In addition to this, once the protection for changing the batteries, or otherwise, was removed, it left the entire remote control completely impregnated with silicone, so at the end of the operation it was necessary to wash the hands for a long time with plenty of soap. Installing the protection, as well illustrated in the product explanations, is quick and simple. Proceed to put the remote control in the protective bag. If the remote control is smaller you can cut it out leaving at least 4.5 cm. beyond the remote control underneath and then fold it towards the back. Then proceed, with a normal hairdryer turned on at maximum power, to direct the hot air onto it from any point on the remote control from a distance that allows the film to stick to its surface. The operation is quite quick and must be performed naturally. The result is excellent; it made me rediscover all the beauty and functionality of my remote control. In conclusion I can only recommend these films because in all these years I have been damned with my old protection which forced me to press the buttons with the help of intuition. Obviously it is useless to point out that when changing the battery the existing protection must be removed and replaced with a new one, but given the negligible cost I don't think it's a problem.[Source : Wish]
